Delivery & Installation

Once you have selected a safe or cabinet, Safetyworks GB Ltd can offer you a comprehensive installation survey (for certain products only).  We will then agree with you a flexible installation schedule.  The flexibility of the installation process is evidence of our commitment towards ensuring the cost and time efficient completion of your purchase.

The products we offer are delivered and installed by trained installers.  Whatever the delivery environment (e.g. large bank or small office), you can be assured that the installers will take the greatest care.  We are also focused on making sure the service on offer is achievable, to the highest standards of workmanship and is promptly completed within the contracted timescales.

Delivery options and limitations are as follows:

Kerbside Delivery only

Delivery is by pallet drop off to a kerbside location only - access permitting - Mainland UK only, Monday - Friday during normal working hours.  Delivery does not include positioning the unit inside a garage, house or other premises.  Please note weight of unit.  Wall or underfloor safes will need specialist installation, either by yourselves or your builder.

Delivery & Positioning option

Delivery and positioning is to a suitable ground floor location with flat access (inc. step and sill) or other floor via suitable lift - access permitting - Mainland UK only, Monday - Friday during normal working hours.

Delivery & Base Fixing option

Delivery and base fixing is to a suitable ground floor location with flat access (inc. step and sill) or other floor via suitable lift - access permitting - Mainland UK only, Monday - Friday during normal working hours.  Delivery to upper floors via steps is available on application.  Please note you may be asked to sign a disclaimer upon delivery.

Privacy & Security

The Safetyworks GB Ltd Privacy Policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you give us when you use this website.  Safetyworks GB Ltd is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with our privacy statement.  We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure.  In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Returns & Replacements

This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.

Please check the dimensions of products and choose any additional items carefully before making your purchase.  Safes are often large, heavy items which can be expensive to return if dimensions have not been calculated correctly prior to order.  

You may return your purchase to Safetyworks GB Limited for a refund by obtaining a Customer Return Authorization (CRA) number within 7 days of the delivery date.  To obtain a CRA please e-mail your invoice or order number and reason to david@safety-works.co.uk.  Alternatively you may contact our customer service department on 01296 655 506.

Please note returns are subject to the following conditions:

1. You must have received a CRA number from our customer service department.
2. The product must be in "as-new" condition, with either original or suitable packaging and with all manuals and accessories.
3. You will receive a refund excluding the original delivery charge.
4. If delivery was free, the outgoing delivery cost will be approximately 10-15% of the total cost of your order.
5. Special services such as Professional Installation or customised products are non-refundable.

Goods shall be returned to Safetyworks GB Limited or their named agent.  ANY POSTAGE AND PACKING COSTS INCURRED ON RETURNED ITEMS ARE FOR THE BUYERS ACCOUNT AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

Please allow up to 28 days for refunds to be processed and credited to your account.

If the product you purchase is faulty, we may offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate in accordance with your legal rights.  Please email david@safety-works.co.uk or contact us on 01296 655 506 if you feel your purchase is faulty.

Ordering

To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and delivery address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date).  This information is used for billing purposes only and to fulfil your order.  If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

1. Fill shopping basket

Choose your product carefully ensuring you have checked dimensions correctly, adding any extra items as necessary and checking the delivery options available.  Then add to your shopping basket.  If you hover your mouse over the shopping basket symbol in the top right hand corner, you will get an overview of all items in your shopping basket.

2. Proceed to checkout

If you have completed your choice and are sure everything is correct and you are happy with the size, fittings, and delivery option for your product then just click on the ‘proceed to checkout’ button.  If at any time up to this point you have any queries or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us as a number of our products are large, heavy items and we want to ensure you have the right product for your needs and situation.

3. Register / Login

If you have not already logged in, you are now asked to log in or to register.  If you are already registered as a customer, please enter your email address and your personal password.  In case you have forgotten your password, you have now the opportunity of requesting a new one.  If you are new to our online shop, register with your e-mail address and a personal password, and fill out the appropriate fields in the form.  You can find details of our Privacy Policy here.

4.  Billing and Delivery Information

Select your delilvery address.  Automatically uses your billing address or select "Delivery to different address" to create a delivery address.  

5. Delivery Method

The type and price of delivery will already be selected as per the product information page.  No additional charge will be added.

6. Payment method

Choose your method of payment.

Credit Card includes Credit or Debit card, or Paypal.  You will be re-directed to WorldPay.

Cheque / Money Order  Please make cheques payable to Safetyworks GB Ltd and post with a covering letter to Safetyworks GB Ltd, PO Box 753

7. Order Review

The order review gives you the opportunity to check your details before placing your order.  In the right-hand colomn you can view "Your Checkout Progress"  and click on CHANGE as necessary.  In case you want to make any changes to your basket, please click on the “edit your basket” button.  Should you wish to buy from us again the settings you have made will be saved in your profile and shown as default during your next purchase.  You have the opportunity to view, edit or delete your details at any time under “My account”.

8. Place order

By clicking on the button “Place Order” we accept your order.  Afterwards, you will receive an email confirming your order.  Please be certain that you have entered all products correctly before placing an order, however, if you change your mind or notice an error after clicking on "Place Order" you have the option of cancelling the item under “My Account” with 24 hours.

9.  Order Received

Thank you for your purchase!  You will receive an order confirmation email with details of your order and a link to track its progress.  You will also be able to print a copy of your order confirmation.

For most products delivery will be within 7-10 working days.  However some items are custom ordered and delivery can be 4-6 weeks.  You will receive an email as part of the despatch process that will confirm delivery times.

You submit a binding offer to Safetyworks GB Ltd when you have passed the order process, stating all details required and have clicked on the button "place order".  After placing your order, we shall send you an email confirming the receipt of your order and listing all relevant details (Order confirmation).  This order confirmation does not represent an acceptance of your order; it just serves the purpose of informing you that we have received your order.  We reserve the right to refuse to accept an order in whole or in part.  A contract of sale is only concluded when we accept your order by supplying the goods.  You can track the status of your order in "My account" under "My orders".  The minimum age for placing an order with Safetyworks GB Ltd is 18.

Payment

We accept all major credit / debit cards including PayPal as follows: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro and Delta

Bank Transfer

Should you wish to pay by CHAPS or BACS please contact us as we can arrange a pro-forma invoice to be sent out by email or post along with our bank details so that you can make a payment.  Please advise us of the name or company as a reference when paying to help us clear your payment and allow delivery of your product.

Payment by Invoice

If you are purchasing on behalf of a business or charity registered in the UK or a government department we can arrange payment by invoice with 30-day payment terms subject of approval.  Please provide a signed purchase order or the following information with your order:

  • Company name
  • Company registration number (if applicable)
  • Full delivery address and invoice address (if different)
  • Contact person and telephone number(s) at delivery / invoice address
  • Purchase order number (if required to show on invoice)
  • Name of person placing order
